Terribly

Today, WordPress’s writing prompt is How do you manage screen time? We’re all glued to our screens responding to the prompt.
I break up my time from computer to phone. I sit at my home office, aka the dinette in my motorhome, and work on my computer. I have a terrible addiction to a game I play on my phone. My thoughts are constantly going, and the game helps with a brain reset. My motorhome has large windows, so the view is constantly changing since we travel. After a few hours, I take a break, sit outside and visit with my husband or take time to do some reading of an actual paper book that is not digital. Phone and computer stay inside.
When you live in a small motorhome, there is cleaning to do all day. We have three dogs that need walking, and me too when it comes down to it. Some days, there are errands to run and I prefer to shop in person rather than order online. I guess that is one benefit to full-time RV life: we are not always camped long enough for an Amazon delivery.
Taking breaks every twenty to thirty minutes helps with breaking up screen time. So maybe I’m doing better than I thought.

Easily. After 14 years of living on a smallholding in Wales I am taking three months “off” and living in the holiday caravan I usually rent out. I go down to the owner’s cafe every day and do 2-3 hours of blissful writing. I’m getting time for screen time…
